2024 Summer of Sundays

Join your friends and teammates for Summer of Sundays at the St. Louis Park Rec Center!

Sessions will be a combination of skills plus small area, cross-ice and pond hockey games. The players will be grouped by age, experience, and skill.  Summer of Sundays is open to all returning youth (Mite, Squirt, Peewee) and girls (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U).  

Summer of Sundays sessions are run by current and former St. Louis Park youth coaches, high school coaches and even some of our famous SLP Hockey alumni!

Dates:

Sundays, June 2 - August 25th

13 weeks!

Times:

3:45 - 4:30 pm (Mini-Mite & 6U girls)

4:30 - 5:15 pm (Upper Mite & 8U girls)

5:30 - 6:30 pm (Squirt & Peewee | 10U & 12U girls)*

*Group will rotate throughout the summer between on & off ice training (combined 10 hours total)

Which session to register for: 

Players should register for the level they will be playing in the 2024-25 season. Here is a guide for the 2024-25 season age levels:

Youth Mini-Mite or Girls 6U: Birthday is 6/1/17 to 5/31/19

Youth Upper-Mite or Girls 8U: Birthday is 6/1/15 to 5/31/17

Youth Squirt or Girls 10U: Birthday is 6/1/13 to 5/31/15

Youth Pee Wee or Girls 12U: Birthday is 6/1/11 to 5/31/13

Youth Bantam: Birthday is 6/1/09 to 5/31/11 (Not eligible for Summer of Sundays)

Girls 15U: Birthday is 6/1/2008 to 5/31/11 (Not eligible for Summer of Sundays)

Girls 19U: Birthday is 1/1/2005 to 5/31/2008 (Not eligible for Summer of Sundays)
