Mites & Girls 8U/6U

The first years of hockey need to be a positive experience. A fun and exciting start gives young players the opportunity to enjoy hockey for life!

If a beginner has fun, develops basic skills, and builds confidence, there is a better chance they will enjoy themselves. But if the early experience is unrewarding, they may never discover all this great game has to offer. Our programming is age appropriate, engaging, and FUN!

Our Mite and Girls 8U/6U training philosophy is simple: gamify as much as possible and teach the most important foundational skating skills (edge work, body control, mobility) and puck control every time we touch the ice. FUN competitions are introduced through informal games like shinny, freeze tag & obstacle courses. As players progress through our Mite and Girls 8U/6U programs they will participate in more formal cross-ice 3v3 and half-ice 4v4 competitions.

Hockey is for everyone!  Parents do not need hockey knowledge or background for their child to play. Bring your child to hockey and we'll show them how to have some fun on the ice.
